Volunteer Superheroes

Preschool teachers' jobs don't end when the children leave the room. These teachers spend endless hours planning, creating, cutting, copying, laminating, organizing, and writing so that they can be prepared to have an outstanding classroom environment for the students.

We have a group of amazing volunteers that come once a week to help take some of that load off of our teachers. They meet on Wednesday mornings right after drop-off in the Wesley Center. But this is not just a chance to help do some mindless cutting, this volunteer group is also a support group. Before getting to work on tasks to help the teachers, this group of parents spend time in fellowship. They watch videos, listen to podcasts, and discuss topics ranging from parenting to marriage to personal growth. It has become a great network of moms who really support one another, and they would love to see their group grow even more. Absolutely everyone is welcome to join! You are also welcome to bring your younger children who are not in preschool with you as well. There are toys available for them, and snacks for everyone. If you would like to participate in the Wednesday morning volunteer group, they are getting started on September 13th.

Want to volunteer but not interested in the support group? We'd still love your help!! Feel free to stop by and ask if there are any materials you could take home to work on. We are grateful for every bit of help we are offered. Good News Preschool parents are simply the best!
