Developmental Screenings

Parents,

Today and tomorrow our children ages 3+ will be sent home with a flyer and brochure from Capital Area Speech. We have a great opportunity coming up that we invite you to consider. Capital Area Speech will be on our campus November 7th and 8th. For just $25 you can have your child (age 3 and up; 2-year-olds by special request) screened for speech, language, fine motor, gross motor, and attention. 4-year olds can also be screened for reading readiness. This is a great way to identify possible areas of difficulty for the purpose of early identification and intervention.

If you choose to have your child screened, it will occur during the school day and you will receive a summary of the results. The screening is intended to be fun for the child. Please read the flyer and brochure being sent home.
