Advent

The season of advent is here. In chapel, we are introducing the children to the tradition of lighting an advent candle each week as we prepare for the coming of Christ. Of course we do it preschool-style and we have a candle lighting that is guaranteed to be burn-free!

In addition to the advent lighting, we have sent home an advent calendar for your child to do at home with you. We hope that you will enjoy counting down the days and reading the daily bible verses.

If you haven't walked down the main hallway, you might not have noticed, but we asked each child what gift they would bring Baby Jesus if they could give him one. Their answers are most entertaining. Be sure to take a moment to read them!
