Teeth!

February is National Dental Health month and at Good News Preschool we use that as a great opportunity to learn about dental hygiene. The staff at TLC Pediatric Dentistry were so very kind to come out on Wednesday and Thursday to help our children learn all about visiting the dentist. We learned what sugar bugs will do to our teeth if we don't brush twice a day, we learned that we should spend at least 2 minutes brushing each time, we learned what foods are good and bad for our teeth, and we learned how to floss (on some pretty awesome huge teeth!). They even sent home toothbrushes and floss to each student in the school. Parents, this is a great opportunity for you to talk about dental health at home. Ask your preschooler what they learned from the dentists and their teachers about how to take care of their teeth!
