Spring!

Spring is here! We are all happy to be back from our spring break and are embracing the warmer weather. One of the exciting things about springtime is the chance to play in our garden. Mrs. Dulce's class visited the garden this week to turn and moisten the soil and plant some seeds. The lessons that children can learn through gardening are endless. Not only do they learn the physical acts of planting and watering seeds, but they learn about life cycles, patience, responsibility, and the miracle of life. I love watching the children in the garden because it is such an obvious example of God's promises for us. Just as one tiny seed can grow to be a prolific plant which might feed many people, God plants within us gifts that will blossom and be used to bless others. I love that our preschool is helping develop those gifts in each child.
